Woman According to the Bible
Most men believe that a woman is a man without a penis; that she behaves like a man, only with the peculiarities of the so-called "female logic”. This mistake does not allow us adequately to understand the problem of women and their relationships with men.
The
escalation of feminism in the West not only does not improve the lives of
women, but it also finally deprives men of the opportunity to understand the true
nature of women and to learn how to behave properly with them.
Only via
the Holy Scriptures is it possible to understand a woman and find acceptable
ways of interacting with her.
I. Adam's
Declaration.
The most
important feature of God and the godlike human being is free creativity.
However, and all Christians will agree, the most important characteristic of
the Divine and human person is love. We will not go into this bottomless
concept here, but let us say that love implies an Other. One cannot love in the
full sense of this concept nature, animals, art. All such love has limits.
Truly infinite love is possible only between personalities.
The most
comprehensive concept of human language that most fully describes the Godhead
is love. But since God is love, it requires more personalities to love, so God
is not one Person. In the Bible, God is Elohim, literally "gods. We know
from the Bible that the Godhead has three Persons, which in Revelation are
called Father, Son, and Holy Spirit/God Spirit. The unity of the Godhead in the
three different Persons is maintained by love. They love each other so much
that they form one whole, yet the three Persons do not merge into one.
Moreover,
God the Father is the Beginning. The Father gives birth (not creates, but gives
birth) to the Son and "emits" the Holy Spirit ("the Spirit of
truth, which proceeds from the Father" (Jon.15:26). What is important
is that the three divine Persons, equal to each other, free - so loving one
another that they simultaneously remain as oneness, but retain their personal
otherness.
And if God
created man as a godlike person personality, then such a personality
must be inherent in love. Man-personality must love God-personality. But in
addition, man, like God, must be able to beget and love other human
personalities like himself. God the Father gives birth to a Son, whom he loves,
and man must give birth to and love.
Now read
the amazing story of the Bible about man's ability to give birth and love to
his fellow human beings:
«Then
the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make
him a helper suitable for him". Out of the ground the LORD God formed
every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man
to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature,
that was its name. The man gave names to all the cattle, and to the birds of
the sky, and to every beast of the field, but for Adam there was not found a
helper suitable for him. So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the
man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that
place. The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the
man, and brought her to the man. The man said, " This is now bone of my
bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken
out of Man". For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother,
and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh» (Genesis
2:18-24).
The Divine
Council of the Trinity gathers: עָשָׂה -
"make". It means that something exceptionally important is to
come. There are seven such councils in known history. There was such counsel at
the creation of man-Adam. Now the council gathers again. The council states that man cannot be alone
in order to be Godlike. Man needs a "helper" to maximize the
most important divine characteristic in man: love. "A helper suitable to him".
It is a approximate translation of the rather complex construct כְּנֶגְדּֽוֹ which is more appropriately
translated here as "complementary". That is, "Let us
make him a helper that complements him". Yes, Adam needs someone to
complement him in order to realize his Godlikeness. At the creation of this
helper, God's own creation is complete, since the fullness of creation is
already there. The helper is the crown of creation, for the realization of the
most important thing in man.
Then
everyone knows: God put Adam to sleep, took his rib, and made Adam a wife out
of it.
Here, Adam,
get a woman! There are plenty of jokes and stereotypes on this subject. But
it's not like that at all! At all.
«Out of
the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the
sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever
the man called a living creature, that was its name. The man gave names to all
the cattle, and to the birds of the sky, and to every beast of the field…».
This is the
first time in creation that God has not done right after He said. Before that:
God said and God did immediately. But here it begins to be different. It can't
be otherwise. God is no longer alone in the universe. A God-like Adam has
already been created, and no important steps can be taken without his consent
and participation.
What does
God do? He creates animals and birds especially close (animals of the field are
animals that live only in the Garden of Eden with man) to Adam, and He involves
Adam in this creation - God and man create together. Giving a name is an
element of creation and a sign of authority over that to which one has given a
name. Adam becomes the co-creator and ruler over these animals.
«but no
helper was found for man to complement him»
Okay, stop.
It turns out that God and Adam were not just creating new animals, but also
looking for something. God already knew perfectly well that there would be no "complementary"
to Adam from these animals. But why were they looking? It was as if God was
asking Adam - "Do you need anybody else?" And Adam said he did, and
he sought that need for himself. In the process of this co-creation of animals,
Adam manifested a desire for someone else like himself to be with him and
thereby asserted that his love (as a particle from God) required realization.
Adam felt,
recognized the need for the Other and consented to the creation of this Other.
It was only now that God could already proceed with the final act of creation.
After Adam's creation, nothing in the world comes from God without the
participation of man. When in future God decides to come into the world,
he will ask man's consent to do so.
So we
finally come to the "creation from the rib". But even here everything
is amazing and unbelievable:
«So the
LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took
one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. The LORD God fashioned
into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the
man. The man said, " This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man". For this
reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife;
and they shall become one flesh»
This is a
fundamentally incorrect translation. A deep sleep - תַּרְדֵּמָה is not a sleep at all. תַּרְדֵּמָה
is the same thing that happened to Abraham when God made a covenant with him:
"Now when the sun was going down, a תַּרְדֵּמָה
fell upon Abram,
and behold, terror and great darkness fell upon him. God said to Abram…" (Genesis 15:12-13). Of course
Abraham was awake - he saw God in the form of a flaming torch and listened to
His promises. But the event was so frightening and difficult for man to
perceive that God puts man in a special state. The Septuagint correctly
translated תַּרְדֵּמָה as ecstasy. So Adam did not
sleep at all, but in view of the enormity of the coming event, being in a state
of ecstasy, he saw everything and understood everything.
«then He
took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. The LORD God
fashioned בָּנָה into a woman the rib which He
had taken from the man, and brought her to the man»
This is
where the comparison with Adam's creation must begin.
The
following words are used to describe Сreation. To create בָּרָא bara, is to create from nothing. To make עָשָׂה asa is to make from something that already exists. Thus in the
Councils of Elohim it was decided to make עָשָׂה
asa both man and woman. But Adam and the animals of paradise God did not just
make, but sculpted, molded יָצַר
yatzar. Regarding woman, the word is בָּנָה
bana - to build, to construct. Adam was made of clay and then spiritualized by
God. The woman, on the other hand, was already made from a living spiritualized
person, not from dead clay. The word בָּנָה
bana, to construct, unique to the first chapters of Genesis, is chosen for such
an act. It was not even cloning, for the woman did not turn out to be a copy of
Adam. It was something else. It was something similar to the plot from the
movie "The Fifth Element" when from a piece of limb of some monster
was made quite a living unique person - Mila Jovovich. Adam, of course, was not
ugly and scary, but the woman was fundamentally different and thus became a
harmonious complement to the man.
And so Adam
meets this complement of himself and proclaims the declaration: «This is now
bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she
was taken out of Man". For this reason a man shall leave his father and
his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh».
«bone of
my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken
out of Man» - Adam recognizes in the "complement of man" a being
native and close to himself, and at the same time gives that being a name,
which according to the Bible, means to define the characteristics of the named.
In Biblical
Hebrew אּישׁ ish is a husband, a man, a
human being. The Hebrew word for wife is אִשָּׁה
isha, that is, the word wife is a man with a feminine ending. It should be
noted that to give a name in the Bible is to define the most important
characteristics of the one being named. By giving such a name to the woman,
Adam became the co-creator of the woman and thereby defined the closeness of
the female nature to the male, and the distinction that allows the woman to
complement the man.
Let us
remember that it was God himself who gave Adam the name, not Adam who named
himself. This means that man is not wholly subject to himself, but only to God.
But since Adam gave a woman a name - it means that man can claim authority over
a woman.
Woman was
created by God and Adam together. And when, after the fall of man, Adam tried
to accuse God: «The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the
tree, and I ate» (Gen.3:12), he lied twice. First, God is not guilty that
instead of exercising authority over the woman, which he was entitled to do,
Adam submitted to her, and second, it was not "whom You gave to be with
me" but God and Adam together voluntarily created the woman.
“Therefore
a man shall leave his father and his mother and cleave to his wife; and they
shall be one flesh" - Adam prophetically (for while there is no mother
and father) proclaims the love of the husband for his wife. As love reigns
among the divine Persons: "I and the Father are one"
(Ion.10:30), so and among human beings, especially between husband and wife,
Adam proclaims love, confesses love, and thus declares the actualization of his
divine attributes, of which love is the main one.
II. The
mysterious word that explains almost everything
But this
pastoral idyll ended quickly. There was the Fall of man, which had tectonic
consequences. Inter alia, a tremendous change concerned the relationship
between man and woman. The subject is immense, and we will touch on only the
most interesting for us here.
«The
LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, Cursed are you
more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you
will go, And dust you will eat All the days of your life; And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise
you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel."
To the
woman He said, "I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain
you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he
will rule over you."
Then to
Adam He said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and
have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not
eat from it'; Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it
All the days of your life. "Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for
you; And you will eat the plants of the field; By the sweat of your face You
will eat bread, Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken;
For you are dust, And to dust you shall return."
Now the
man called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all the living» (Genesis 3:14-20).
Concerning
Adam. God accuses him of two sins. Of course for breaking the commandment of
not eating the forbidden fruit, but also for submitting to the woman even
though he had every opportunity and power to stop the sin. These sins had
far-reaching consequences.
Adam was
created immortal so that in free creativity and love he could realize his
divinity. And now that he has traded freedom for dependence on matter through
sin, there is almost no free creativity left in his activities. Most of the
time man must now work to sustain his life, which will anyway end in decay and
death.
«To the
woman He said, "I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain
you will bring forth children».
Woman was created as Adam's helper and complement in love and free
creativity. But as a result of the fall into sin, woman's creativity is limited
to painful childbearing. But let us notice how this limitation occurs. Adam was
created by God Himself, and God Himself changed Adam's nature after the Fall of
man. But the change in the nature and life of the woman after sin was made by
God and Adam together: «Now the man called his wife's name Eve, because she
was the mother of all the living». Adam gave a second name to the woman,
Eve, which fixes the limitation of her creativity by childbearing.
Adam and
Eve realized their sin and repented. Though God kicked them out of Paradise, He
did not abandon them. Eve probably felt the worst in this situation. But in all
this tragedy, God gives the woman a great hope: Some of her offspring (seed,
offspring - זֶ֫רַע zera) will smite Satan and
save mankind from the curse of sin. Eve immediately grasped this and as the
book of Genesis tells us, the first thing people did after being expelled from
Paradise: "And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare
Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD" (Gen.4:1). The
first thing people did outside Paradise - was to get laid. Of course it is
written in patriarchal language that Adam knew Eve. But it was rather Eve who
fucked Adam. She wanted her child to be the Savior that God promised. So she
named her son Cain (from the word "gain" from the Lord): she was
waiting for a Savior. But the Fall of man was too great a catastrophe and her
first offspring turned out not to be the Savior and Christ, but the first
Satanist and Antichrist. It would be millennia before a distant descendant of
Eve came as Savior.
Now we come
to the main question of our narrative. How should the relationship between man
and woman work after the Fall of man. Before sin, woman was free to co-create
and love with man. Man had the right to exercise authority over the woman, but
it was only a right, not an obligation. Before the Fall of man, love gave no
place to authority. They were united in love. But when Eve stumbled and sinned,
love weakened and Adam should have immediately exercised his authority over his
wife. But he did not do so and sinned himself.
Now, so
that this does not happen in the future, God establishes a new mechanism for
the relationship between the sexes: "Yet your desire will be for
your husband, And he will rule over you". The main purpose of a
woman's existence is desire for her husband. It's not just about sexual
attraction. A woman can have sex, give birth and raise children without being
in a serious relationship with a man. A popular theory is that a woman is
attracted to a man instinctively. And this is not entirely true. Instinctively
a man is attracted to a woman because of his instinct for sexual desire and
reproduction. A woman, unlike a man, has something different and far more
serious than mere instinct.
The word
"desire" does not convey all the meaning. The word תְּשׁוּקַת teshuka, translated «desire»
and in the Septuagint as ἀποστροφή «shelter» is obscure in its origin. It
occurs three times in the Bible. The first is in the account of the wife's
desire for her husband. Little is clear to us here.
The second
time it is mentioned in the Song of Songs: "I belong to my friend, and
to me his desire תְּשׁוּקַת is directed" (Song 7:11). There is clearly
a poetic trick here that tells us of the great power of the attraction, but no
more.
And the
third example is when God explains to Cain the situation in which he finds
himself and what to do about it: «sin is crouching at the door; and its
desire תְּשׁוּקַת is for you, but you must
master it»
(Gen.4:6,7).
Anyone
familiar with the text of the Bible would feel something absurd in this
passage. It is not in the true language of the first chapters of Genesis that
"sin is crouching at the door". Such phrases are typical for much
later times. If we follow the context of the first chapters of Genesis, only a personality
could “crouch at the door”. This crouching personality may only be the
Serpent-Satan, the one whom God deprived of his feet and who crawls on his
belly.
Here is
what the Septuagint, a translation from an earlier Hebrew Torah text, tells us:
God tells Cain that he sinned by wrongly dividing the sacrifice. There is no
mention of sin at the door at all. But immediately God teaches: "his
desire ἀποστροφή (translation of תְּשׁוּקַת)
is for you, and you will rule άρχω (dominate, rule) him".
Who is
"his"? “He” is the devil-serpent. He is the devil who has a strong
desire תְּשׁוּקַת for man, and man can rule
over him. Here God is retelling again his commandment which He gave to man
immediately after the Fall of man: "The LORD God said to the serpent,
"Because you have done this, Cursed are you more than all cattle, And more
than every beast of the field; On your belly you will go, And dust you will eat
All the days of your life; And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And
between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall
bruise him on the heel" (Gen. 3 :14,15).
The devil, as prince, archonte of the cosmos, ruler of the material world, who literally eats matter - "eats dust", can influence man via material things. But man receives the power to smash the devil in the head. The head is the element of control and at the same time the devil's weak point. Man can, through right thoughts, words, and actions, repel and cast out the devil. The devil tempts the material in man («bruise on the heel»), but man can control his material part. Man is not an animal, and the flesh has no power over him. And by waging a mental battle - man can defeat the devil.
And so God
says to Cain - do not give in to temptations from the devil, but strike him
with a mental battle, lift your eyes from the earth, matter - to the Heaven, to
the spirit. And so you will be able to keep the devil on a leash like a dog.
All his bites in the heel will be nothing to you. Cain, unfortunately, did not
listen to God and became a Satanist.
All these
stories, like the elements of a mosaic, add up to a single picture. The devil
envies God and realizes his envy in the struggle against God's favorite child -
man. The devil's hatred of man is blind and in spite of its high
cunning, strategically the devil's hatred is insane, for he dared to
tempt even Christ himself. Furthermore, in this hatred the devil is firmly
attached to man, the devil needs man and man does not need the devil. The devil
can tempt man, but the devil has no power over man unless man wants it. But man
can have power over the devil.
This
colossal dependence of the devil on man will eventually lead the devil to
defeat. The devil was so eager to get Christ as a man into Hell that he got his
way, but Christ-God descended into Hell. The walls of Hell could not withstand
it and collapsed - and the people condemned to the devil's Hell were saved. The
enormous power of the devil's desire תְּשׁוּקַת
teshuka to man, outweighed all rational arguments.
Such is
this desire תְּשׁוּקַת. So, what are the
characteristics of this desire תְּשׁוּקַת
teshuka:
The desire/teshuka is irrational,
and one who is subject to this teshuka cannot rationally control it. On the
other hand, one who can act rationally and can control his thoughts and
actions, can dominate and control one who is prone to this irrational teshuka.
The devil
desires (teshuka) a man, and a man can rationally control him. A woman desires
(teshuka) a man, and a man can rule over her in the same way with his mind.
The desire/teshuka is very
strong, and the one who has it cannot overcome it in any way. Moreover,
this desire cannot be replaced by anything else. The devil cannot stop, or at
least reduce his desire (teshuka) for man. The devil is not interested in anything
in this world except the destruction of man.
Similarly,
a woman cannot stop or control her desire for a man. On the other hand, a woman
can do nothing else to replace the object of her main interest. Whatever a
woman does is a form of desire for a man. Note that desire/teshuka cannot be
compared to instinct. The instinct can be controlled by the mind, even a woman
can do this. Besides, in many cases, the instinct can be sublimated into
something else. The desire/teshuka is irreplaceable and uncontrollable.
Even the maternal
instinct cannot replace a woman's desire/teshuka for a man. At one time there
was a popular idea that the essence of a woman is sexuality and childbearing.
This is, by the way, a common view among many Christians. But this is a
mistake: the essence of a woman is not childbearing, but to be with her
husband. That takes precedence over childbearing.
Plenty of
women destroy their families and the life of children becomes unbearable, but
children will never be a deterrent for women. On the other hand, a lot of rich
divorced women with children look for and keep alphonists, and if they don't
find them, they suffer a lot and even a child can't completely comfort them.
Once again, the essence of a woman is her desire/teshuka for a man, and
children are just a nice addition to that.
The desire/teshuka is
unidirectional, or in other words, monogamous. A woman can only be
interested in one man. The most important characteristic of desire/teshuka, as
we have already mentioned, is its great strength. If a woman gets involved with
several men at the same time, it means that the woman has no desire/teshuka at
all. Men, on the other hand, in the early stages of the Jewish people were
allowed to have several wives and concubines, mainly to maximize childbearing.
A man with his rationality (well, and if he had money) could operate several
women but only his lawful wives and concubines. Over time, however, monogamy
became mandatory for men as well, as it was originally intended by God. But for
women polygamy was strictly forbidden, equated with adultery and punishable by
death.
Finally, the
desire/teshuka is not a primitive mechanism, but a very complex and
multifaceted process that takes many forms and shades, but fundamentally
has the same essence. The devil and his intrigues take many forms, to the point
that the devil can appear as Christ. A woman's desire/teshuka for a man also
takes many forms, from makeup and clothing to sex and childbearing.
A woman,
not only sexually, but ontologically desires for her husband, in her husband is
her existential need founded in creation. But at the Creation this was
established as a potential, but not as an obligatory fulfillment. The
relationship between the sexes was supposed to be through free love (not to be
confused with "free love" - debauchery), not through desire, instinct
or something similar. But when, because of sin, love weakened, the potential
was elevated to a rigid, voluminous, existential super-instinct – desire/teshuka.
It is
interesting, from the height of Christianity and several millennia of history,
how apostles Paul and Peter view the problem of the relationship between the
sexes:
«But I
want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the
head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ. Every man who has something on
his head while praying or prophesying disgraces his head. But every woman who
has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying disgraces her head, for she
is one and the same as the woman whose head is shaved. For if a woman does not
cover her head, let her also have her hair cut off; but if it is disgraceful
for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, let her cover her
head. For a man ought not to have his head covered, since he is the image and
glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. For man does not originate
from woman, but woman from man; for indeed man was not created for the woman's
sake, but woman for the man's sake. Therefore the woman ought to have a symbol
of authority on her head, because of the angels. However, in the Lord, neither
is woman independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as the woman originates
from the man, so also the man has his birth through the woman; and all things
originate from God. Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to
God with her head uncovered?» (1Cor. 11:3-13).
«The
women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak,
but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. If they desire to
learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for
a woman to speak in church» (1Cor. 14:34-35).
«In the
same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of
them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the
behavior of their wives, as they observe your chaste and respectful behavior.
Your adornment must not be merely external--braiding the hair, and wearing gold
jewelry, or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the heart,
with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious
in the sight of God. For in this way in former times the holy women also, who
hoped in God, used to adorn themselves, being submissive to their own husbands;
just as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, and you have become her
children if you do what is right without being frightened by any fear. You husbands
in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone
weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace
of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered» (1Pt.3:1-7).
On the one
hand, it affirms the equality of man and woman before God, both ethically and
ontologically (both men and women are equally valuable and beloved to God, who
are also equally responsible before God) and by grace - women can also have
spiritual gifts (e.g., prophecy). In addition, both men and women can assist
each other in salvation.
But on the
other hand, the ancient principle of the supremacy of man over his woman and
the unconditional superiority of male authority has been postulated since
Adam's time. In both domestic and religious life, the husband is enjoined to
love his wife and not to abuse his authority. The only exception to this rule
is the question of the acceptance of Christianity:
«But to
the rest I say, not the Lord, that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever,
and she consents to live with him, he must not divorce her. And a woman who has
an unbelieving husband, and he consents to live with her, she must not send her
husband away. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife, and
the unbelieving wife is sanctified through her believing husband; for otherwise
your children are unclean, but now they are holy. Yet if the unbelieving one
leaves, let him leave; the brother or the sister is not under bondage in such
cases, but God has called us to peace» (1Cor. 7:12-15).
No
patriarchal authority can be used for the personal faith of family members (as
was common in antiquity), moreover, if a religious conflict in the family
becomes a cause for divorce, such divorce is permitted, although in general the
New Testament has a very negative attitude toward divorce.
In view of
the expectation of the first Christians for the imminent return of Christ, Paul
says that since the time is near, we should not waste our time and strength on
family relationships, but remain unmarried and prepare for the end of the
world. However, Paul says that this is his personal recommendation, not a
commandment received from God.
But most
importantly, the New Testament unequivocally affirms the religious necessity of
a wife's submission to her husband: «Christ is the head of every man, and
the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ». First, it
speaks of everyone - that is, without exception. Second, the relationship of
wife and husband must be as the husband's relationship to Christ, and they in
turn as Christ's relationship to God the Father. Christ fully obeys the Father,
and they love one another--the family relationship accordingly must be similar.
It is clear
that such a high level of relationship is very difficult to achieve in
practice. Therefore, questions have naturally arisen - since it is so
difficult, maybe we should not marry at all: «The disciples said to Him,
"If the relationship of the man with his wife is like this, it is better
not to marry." But He said to them, " Not all men can accept this
statement, but only those to whom it has been given. "For there are
eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb; and there are eunuchs
who were made eunuchs by men; and there are also eunuchs who made themselves
eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to accept this,
let him accept it"» (Mattw 19:10-12).
One must
understand the context of this saying. According to the spirit and the letter
of the Tanakh, as well as the centuries-old tradition of the ancient Jews, -
marriage and childbearing were obligatory for both men and women. The unmarried
were seen as flawed and the childless as punished by God. Unmarried men could
not hold certain positions, and unmarried women (except widows) were often
perceived as prostitutes. At certain points in history polygamy and the
institution of concubines were practiced, but even for concubines the Law
protected their rights.
When Christ
set the bar high for marriage, it was thought among his disciples to give up
marriage entirely. But Christ stipulated that marriage can be refused only in
two cases: physical incapacity for sexual life (as a result of illness or
forced castration) and when a person voluntarily gives up marriage to serve God
(as Christ and some of his followers actually did) and only if one «to whom
it has been given», that is, if one has spiritual strength and a calling
for it. In all other cases, marriage is compulsory: «For this reason a man
shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they
shall become one flesh» (Genesis 2:24). Even Paul says that widows who do
not have the capacity to live a virgin life for God must marry.
No one
diminishes the significance of woman in the Bible, for when God comes into the
world He will come through the birth of a woman, and He will not ask for the
consent of a man but of a woman.
III. The
practical realization of a woman's desire/teshuka for her husband
The woman's
desire/teshuka for the convenience of consideration we shall divide into three
aspects:
Femininity
as the pursuit of her mission;
A
woman's choice of her husband;
The
wife's relationship with her husband.
As a consequence of sin, the woman, like the man, has become corrupt. In the first place, the man's head, his ability to think properly and wage mental battle with the devil, is corrupted. First of all, in the woman, her desire/teshuka for her husband became corrupted. The devil, knowing that he will antagonize the woman's offspring, strikes at the woman's desire/teshuka for the man and thereby diminishes the woman's chances of having good offspring. The three aspects of desire/teshuka mentioned above are accordingly corrupted as well. Many women make the wrong choices about their femininity, the wrong choice of husband, and the wrong relationship with that man.
A woman who
has problems with at least one of these aspects of desire/teshuka for a man (desire/teshuka
is the essence of life and the purpose of women) is defective. A woman can be
an excellent scientist, politician, businessman, but in her essence she is
worthless.
So, the
first aspect. Femininity as the pursuit of mission established by God.
From the
above we draw an important conclusion: if a man or woman refuses to marry, not
because of mutilation, not because of failure in finding a mate, or not for the
service of God, or if the marriage does not honor the principles "her
desire for her husband" and "her husband is the head," then it
is a grave sin, like a breaking of the relationship between man and God.
From this a
crucial consequence emerges. Since a woman's desire/teshuka for a man is
incredibly strong and transcends all rationality and instinct, when a woman
avoids or perverts her desire/teshuka for a man and her submission to him, it
is equivalent to rejection of God. That is, it is a feminine form of the
Cainian sin, that is, of Satanism. In what forms can this rejection take place?
1. Explicit
or implicit rejection of the true God and religious service to other gods or to
the devil himself, whether in the form of priesthood, witchcraft, temple
prostitution or virginity.
2.
Conscious or unconscious avoidance of patriarchal marriage: feminists, Child
Free, lesbians, transvestites, etc.
3.
Prostitution.
4. Any female
ambition to the detriment of family life. Even a married woman's desire to
serve God to the detriment of her family is sinful.
5. Wish in
marriage to dominate her husband.
6. Marital
infidelity.
It is
important to note that women also have developed intellect, they are not
stupider than men, but when it comes to relationships with men, women's
intellect loses its priority. A male can and should always be guided by
intellect and nothing should take precedence over his intellect. Male Satanism
is the deliberate rejection of God.
Female
Satanism is the suppression or perversion of her desire/teshuka for a man. All
cases of suppression and perversion of desire for a man result only in the
imitative replacement of the husband with another "fiancé": a lover,
a client or a demon. Before the Flood, the Cainite women, following the
Satanist men, also became Satanists: they rejected the desire/teshuka for a
husband and replaced it with a desire/teshuka for demons - thus began the era
of the Nephilim. Paganism practiced temple prostitution or vice versa - temple
virginity, when a woman directed her desire/teshuka to some god instead of a
man. In the "Middle Ages," witches were accused of being attracted to
the devil. A coven involved ritual or real intercourse with the devil and the
sacrifice of the witches' children to him.
Note that
the perversion or suppression of a woman's desire/teshuka for a man is
fundamentally irrational on some deep, poorly understood level. A woman becomes
a feminist not because she has read a lot of feminist literature, but because
her deeper essence in the form of a desire/teshuka for a man is severely
damaged. And she only shapes this damage into feminism, or witchcraft, or
prostitution, or whoring, etc.
So, the
first stage of the realization of desire/teshuka in a woman is the affirmation
or rejection of the direction of life determined by God. It is either desire/teshuka
for a man and God or desire/teshuka for the devil and his demons. If a woman's
vector of desire/teshuka is misdirected, it is a nightmare. It's hard to even
call such a creature a woman. And it doesn't matter that she is a feminist or a
Cainite or a witch - these are essentially the same thing.
This is the
first aspect of the female desire/teshuka. So let's say a woman has the right
vector of desire/teshuka and stops at being attracted to a man. What's next?
The second
aspect. A woman's choice of a particular man-husband.
This choice
also occurs irrationally. Why a woman chooses this or that man cannot be
rationally explained. A woman loves and that's it.
The typical
story is that a beautiful girl is courted by men. They are intelligent, not
poor, prominent men, but she chooses a scumbag, a drunkard, a drug addict, a
psychopath, an alphonse, a beggar. And no matter what you tell a woman, she
will not change her choice.
Contrary to
popular belief, a man chooses a woman very rationally. He chooses a beautiful
woman. A woman's beauty is her physical ability to childbirth. A beautiful ass,
boobs, etc. are attributes of good childbearing function. A man chooses the
body best suited for carrying, giving birth, and nursing a child.
If you ask
a woman, she will also say that she chooses the man best suited to protect and
financially support a family and child. Every woman dreams of a prince: smart,
handsome, strong, rich, with status in society, etc., and this is quite a
rational and correct choice. But in reality a woman makes an irrational choice,
and if her desire/teshuka mechanism is damaged, between a real prince and an
asshole she will choose an asshole.
The
question arises - can a woman choose her husband rationally rather than by desire/teshuka?
Yes she can. Any woman, especially a "clever woman", can rationally
choose a husband with good characteristics. This is especially common when a
woman has been unable to start relationship by desire/teshuka for a long time,
or if the woman consciously only wants to use the man to achieve her mercantile
goals.
But if a
woman is not attracted to a man by desire/teshuka, she will not love him. This
is the most important thing a man should know about a woman. If a woman chooses
a man solely on intelligence, then she will not be able to love him, but only
to play a role (demo-version) of love that cannot be played for long. Hence the
most important rule for men - you can't woo a woman you like too zealously. If
a woman falls in love with an suitor by desire/teshuka - then she will do
everything to be with him. But if you push hard to win her, to seduce with your
qualities of a prince, a woman can decide to start a relationship not on the
desire/teshuka, but on a rational estimates. And this is a disaster for a man,
because unlike men, women cannot build family relationships based on rational
estimates. A harmonious family is possible only on the basis of a woman's
desire/teshuka. And here we come to the third aspect.
The third
aspect. The relationship with the husband in marriage.
For
experienced men know that 90 percent of the relationship from dating to married
life is a woman's mission. And these relations are not rational. Women behave
with men as if intuitively, that is, by desire/teshuka. Of course, clever women
know how to behave with a man, but if they have problems with the mechanisms of
desire/teshuka, then this knowledge cannot be realized in a real relationship.
If a woman
has chosen her husband solely of convenience, then even if she manages the
relationship correctly, "by reason," nothing will work out and the
family will be unhappy.
That is, if
a women does not behave in the right way with her heart, by desire/teshuka,
then no knowledge, no experience will help her. If the mechanism of desire/teshuka
in the relationship is broken, the relationship is broken. And there's no point
in waiting for her to wise up, to gain experience. No, if a woman is trashy,
then it's over.
If a woman
is normal in her desire/teshuka, she will be normal in everything. And no
influence of the mother, upbringing, environment plays a radical role here. But
if a woman is naturally crappy in her desire/teshuka, then nothing will help
her to become better. It's like with music, art and other talents - if there is
a talent, teachers and mentors will only help it develop, and if there is no
talent - teaching will do nothing.
Why is one
woman born trash, and the other born good? Why are there two sisters in the
same family: one good and the other bitchy? Sin has damaged everything very
deeply, and some kind of malfunction is going on at some deep, mystical,
spiritual levels. Women are already born that way. These women with damaged desire/teshuka
are genuinely pitied. The trouble is that such women are in the majority, which
means that the chances of a man having a good family life are very low.
IV. The
Patriarchy as the Only Solution
It is no
secret that more than half of all marriages break up, and half of those that do
not break up are unhappy. The reason for this is that sin has damaged the
woman's mechanism of desire/teshuka, and there is no way to fix it. Probably
worthless women are like that from birth. Also, it is often not possible to
quickly identify a worthless woman. A trashy woman with damaged desire/teshuka
can play the demo-version of a good wife for several years as an actress. But
that role/ demo-version is bound to end, and the family is in trouble.
But if a
man can neither in time recognize a worthless woman nor change that woman for
the better, he can use his power and authority over her. In order to somehow
reduce the destructive impact on the family of a worthless woman, God gave man
power over the woman and enabled men to establish a patriarchal order. In this
order, the woman is placed in a rigid framework so that if her desire/teshuka
is damaged, it is possible to protect the family from disaster and to allow the
lineage to continue.
The basic
principles of patriarchy:
Regarding
the first aspect of
desire/teshuka there were severe laws against female satanism and witchcraft. Witches
were to be killed. Women were also punished by death for cheating on their
husbands, and prostitutes were not considered human beings. Also, women were
restricted in religion, politics, business, creativity, etc.
Regarding
the second aspect,
the father's consent was obligatory in choosing a groom for his daughter. If
the groom did not pass the father's selection, if he was worthless, the father
would not give his consent to the marriage, no matter what the daughter wanted.
In general, the ideal patriarchal matchmaking takes place in two stages. When
the bridegrooms are proposed to a girl, then at first these grooms pass the
first stage of selection - the selection by the father of the fiancee to see
whether they can become a worthy patriarch of the family. And then the selected
worthy grooms are presented to the fiancee, who is asked if she feels desire/teshuka
for this or that groom. If the father of the fiancee approves of the groom, and
then the fiancee herself agrees to marry that groom, then the matchmaking took
place.
Regarding
the third aspect,
there was a clear division of rights and responsibilities in the family:
authority and responsibility in the family was vested in the husband, and women
were severely punished for malicious disobedience.
It is clear
that such a system did not bring happiness to a family in which the wife was
worthless, but it also protected the family from great misery.
The
patriarchy is the practical realization of God's commandment to fallen people:
the husband is to rule over his wife and the wife is to obey him. It is the
only chance for a bearable family life after being cast out of Paradise. Is
that a good thing? Of course it is not good. It is not good to be expelled from
Paradise, it is not good to work hard for a pittance. But there is no other way
- these are all bitter pills to cure sinfulness. Only by going through these
trials, mankind could grow to the point of accepting Christ the Savior.
The
patriarchy can be compared to a chain for a dog. If the dog knows its master,
the chain does not prevent it from loving the master, but if the dog does not
accept the master, the chain will prevent it from attacking and biting the
master and his children. The owner in this case will not get affection and
gratitude, but at least he will not be bitten. It is the same with women.
Patriarchy does not prevent a woman from loving her husband, it even helps to
give birth and bring up children, but if it turns out that desire/teshuka and
love of a woman is not enough, patriarchy protects her husband, children and
family from destructive activity of a worthless woman.
It should
be remembered that apart from restrictions, patriarchy gives a woman many
bonuses in the form of care and maintenance by her husband, but for some reason
this is less talked about. A woman has fewer rights but also fewer
responsibilities.
Patriarchy
is a complex phenomenon that not only restricts the woman in her
destructiveness, but also imposes a great burden on the man. In patriarchy, a
man must be not just a husband, but a patriarch. He must be responsible for the
family, leading the family in matters of economy and religious life.
Decision-making is the most important responsibility of the patriarch husband.
A man must be active and authoritative, but power must not degenerate into
complacency and tyranny. And this is all very difficult. Not all men can do it.
Isaac's patriarchal mistakes and Jacob's self-abandonment of patriarchal
responsibilities led to the increasing role of women, the collapse of the
family, and Egyptian slavery.
V.
Matriarchy as a tool of Satan
The trouble
is that in today's world his Prince not only spoils the desire/teshuka of
women, but also breaks the patriarchal system. Matriarchy is an ancient weapon
of the devil. Men can tie the devil down like a dog and prevent the matriarchy
from being established, but men themselves have sinned and degraded so much
that they have stopped resisting the devil and allowed him to dismantle the
patriarchy. The first thing Satanists do is to emancipate women. Matriarchy is
a sign of the decadence of man and the power of the devil over him. Under such
conditions it is very difficult to save the family. For the patriarchal
mechanisms can no longer compensate for the failure of women's desire/teshuka.
The devil
has destroyed the patriarchy and thereby killed most of the possibilities for a
normal family life, as this is the only fuse and protection of the family. The
devil destroys the family because it is the last refuge of the personality in
pre-apocalyptic times.
Under the
present circumstances, the only chance for a good family is to ask God to send
a good loving wife, because if the wife turns out to be a trashy woman, there
is no patriarchy as a family protection to neutralize her destructiveness.
One can and
should try to examine a woman rationally to determine if she is worthless. But
the only reliable indicator of worthless women is to look at the history of her
relationships with men. For example, try to find out if she's a witch or if
she's prostituted herself. It is also obvious that if a woman is divorced, it
means that the woman cannot have desire/teshuka for a suitable man, much less
establish a normal family relationship with her husband. But this approach only
works for women who are no longer young. But if you see a young angel in a
miniskirt without much of a history? Appearances can be deceiving - in more
than half of the cases, this angel is a bitch who will ruin the life of her
husband, herself and children. But you won't be able to recognize her quickly.
It is naive
to think that it will be possible to bring back the biblical patriarchy. It is
no longer possible, because the world is coming to an end, and the breakdown of
the family is one of the symptoms of that movement - there is no going back.
What is there to do? Hope to God that He will send a good wife and help in the
marriage life, only He can do that.
